Wolters Kluwer Foundation

Wolters Kluwer Foundation develops its activity in the areas of Justice, Education, Environment and I+D.

The Foundation aims to articulate the support of Wolters Kluwer’s social activities in Spain, developing its strong commitment to welfare and general interest, implementing solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

Wolter Kluwer Foundation has been established on December 28th, 2007 as a not for profit organization. The Foundation was registered on 2008, March the 28th, by Order ECI/1129/2008 (BOE April the 24th) in the Registry Office.

Commitments

1. Justice :

The Foundation focuses on Justice, aiming to improve the Spanish legal system, enhancing the organization of the judiciary system, as well as the legal institutions and their professionals.

The goal is to promote the analysis and debate of these issues.

2. Education:

The Foundation supports vocational training for teachers, promotes pedagogical updating, quality in teaching and best practices.

3. Environment:

Collaboration in this subject, with the aspiration of incorporating the respect for the Environment into the Spanish companies and institutions, as management indicators.

As a consequence, the Foundations has the commitment to work on the popularization of the law, education, debate and proposal of solutions to the particular problems related to this issue.

4. Innovation :

One of the major activities of the Foundation is its cooperation with Spanish companies to innovate, supporting Research and Development projects.
